The Lexington Area MPO Participation Plan was most recently adopted on April 25th, 2007 with the most recent minor revisions finished in June of 2011. This new plan has been updated to be in compliance with SAFETEA-LU federal regulations. One of the major differences with this update is that this Participation Plan not only identifies how the Lexington Area MPO gives out information and listens to the public, but also how the MPO coordinates with other agencies and organizations as well. This new plan also has demographic information for Fayette and Jessamine counties, a table of agencies that the MPO coordinates with, Title VI and Environmental Justice information (including contacts), and information regarding the MPO's new Public Input Database including analysis.
